The maestro of underwater sculpture Jason deCaires Taylor has recently installed his latest work of art titled, Ocean Atlas. Featuring a young local Bahamian girl carrying the weight of the ocean on her shoulders, this is the largest single sculpture ever to be deployed underwater. An absolute beauty to behold, the sculpture extends 5 metres up front he sea and weighs over 60 tonnes and was assemble underwater in sections using an ambitious technique developed by Jason himself.
